Experience a deep state of rest and relaxation during an evening of Yoga Nidra, breath work and the healing vibrations of crystal singing bowls.

Yoga Nidra, also known as yogic sleep, is a meditative practice that facilitates deep relaxation. While resting in a reclined position, you are guided to shift your attention to various parts of your body, breath and consciousness, leading to what ancient yogis called the “deep sleep” state. During a sound bath, sound and vibration are used to adjust your breath, heart rate and brain waves to a more calm and relaxed state. Combining these two practices allows stress to release, deep rest for the body and a renewed sense of balance and clarity in the mind.

Please wear warm, comfortable clothing that allows you to stretch and relax. No yoga or meditation experience necessary. All are welcome.



 GENTLE RESTORATIVE YOGA + SOUND BATH

Join Michelle for an evening of Gentle Restorative Yoga, while bathing in the healing vibrations of crystal singing bowls and chimes.
 
Restorative yoga is the practice of release and relaxation, using bolsters and blankets to support the physical body in the art of letting go. During a sound bath, sound and vibration are used to adjust the breath, heart rate and brain waves to naturally shift your consciousness to a more meditative state. Combining these two practices stimulates the relaxation response of the nervous system, decreases stress, and facilitates deep rest. As the body and mind calm, increased mental clarity, a deeper awareness of physical sensations in the body, and a stronger connection to one's intuition may be experienced.
 
No Yoga or Meditation experience necessary. All are welcome.

Join Michelle Befus and Sheri Kay for a restorative evening of Reiki and Sound Healing.
 
Reiki is a form of energy healing, translated from the Japanese words “rei,” meaning universal, and “ki,” meaning life energy.  This form of energy medicine stimulates the flow of prana (energy) within, removing energetic blocks in similar ways as acupuncture or acupressure. Reiki practitioners believe that improving the flow of energy in the body can enable relaxation, relieve pain, speed healing, and reduce symptoms of illness. During a sound bath, sound and vibration are used to adjust your breath, heart rate and brain waves to a more calm and meditative state. Combining these two practices invites a relaxed state of being, allowing the body to truly rest and heal.

** Please note, although gentle hands-on touch is one way to receive Reiki, it can be effective across many miles by simply setting and holding a specific intention. Touch will be optional and only offered to those who request. Reiki energy will fill the room and is equally as effective with or without touch.
 
In an effort to minimize any concerns about close contact, Sheri will be wearing a mask when moving about the room and offering hands-on touch. Touch is intuitively guided and will be limited to top of head, jaw, throat, heart, belly, outer pelvis, and feet.

FULL MOON MUSING: MEDITATION + SOUND BATH

The full moon represents a period of transformation and completion. It is a powerful time to reflect and release that which no longer serves one’s higher purpose, like habitual thought patterns, behaviors and even aspects of day to day life. This act of letting go creates space for something new to take root, allowing a fresh cycle of possibility and growth to commence.

Join Michelle for an evening of mindful musing under the full moon, while supported by the healing vibrations of crystal singing bowls. During a sound bath, sound and vibration are used to adjust the breath, heart rate and brain waves to a more calm and peaceful state. While experiencing different tones, tempos and patterns of sound, the listener naturally shifts from an active, waking state of consciousness to a more relaxed state, conducive to release and renewal. The benefits can include mental clarity, increased levels of relaxation in the body, ease and comfort in breathing, reduced feelings of anxiety or physical pain and restful sleep.
